I am a gambling man!
I love Vegas, and am a big fan of A.C. (but not as much as Vegas).
Maryland passed Question 2 on Tuesday, which I believe will allow "Video Lottery" to be played at 5 locations around the State. Living in Virginia, I do not believe I am going to hop in my car anytime soon so that I can go play slots, but am hopeful that the "legalization" of gambling, which seems to be spreading throughout the country will start to make its way to the Old Dominion. Who knows what comes after slots...table games? poker? something else?
I am not sure we will see it in my lifetime, but it is certainly exciting to think that I could save myself from the 4 hour trips to the Southern tip of NJ or hopping a plane to the desert!

If you don't think the National Harbor was outfitted to support a casino, you'd be mistaken. I would guess in 3-4 years MD has a referendum for live table games.
I hope you are right - but I'm afraid that Maryland has the same elderly voters that think table games are immoral under any circumstances.
